Only your first submission counts. Keyboard: 1–7 to answer, Backspace to undo, Enter to check. No microphone.

Your progressions

Enter 2–8 scale degrees, such as 1 4 2 6. Add them to your practice pool or hear them as a loop. Allow progress saving above to keep them between visits.

How to practise

  1. Start with I, IV and V. Listen to the tonic reference, then the four-chord question.
  2. Enter each chord in order. Check once, then compare your answer with the played sequence.
  3. Add ii and vi, try changing keys, or enter your own progressions.

Questions

What do the Roman numerals mean?

They describe chords built on degrees of the key. In C major, I is C major, ii is D minor, IV is F major, V is G major and vi is A minor. The same pattern can move to another key.

Can I save and loop my own progressions?

Yes. Enter two to eight degrees and give the sequence a name. It joins your custom practice pool. The Loop button plays it until you stop. Saving between visits needs your separate progress permission.

What is scored?

The first submitted sequence is compared position by position. Four correct chords out of four score 100%; two out of four score 50%. Replays and loops do not add scores.
