How to practise
- Press New rhythm. Hear four count-in beats, then a one-bar pattern. Listen again if you need.
- Press Tap it back. After four count-in beats, use the pad or Space to repeat the pattern.
- Compare the target hits with your taps. Try the same pattern again, then add eighth notes or offbeats.
Questions
How is my rhythm scored?
Each tap can match one expected hit within the timing window shown in the result. Missing hits and extra taps lower the score. No taps produces zero; playback alone never earns a score.
Can I clap instead of tapping?
This version accepts the on-screen pad and the Space key. It does not request the microphone or detect claps.
Why do my taps seem consistently late?
Audio and input devices can add delay, especially over Bluetooth. Use speakers or wired headphones first. The optional timing adjustment subtracts a delay you choose from your tap times.
Is this the same as tapping a tempo?
No. Tap tempo estimates a steady BPM. Here you remember and repeat a specific pattern of hits and rests within a four-beat bar.
