About Tonissimo
Tonissimo is a set of free music practice tools that hear you. The name joins “tone” and “-issimo”, the Italian ending you know from fortissimo.
Why it exists
It started in a choir. One singer wanted to see the voice while practising: which note, how far off, how steady. Most tools show a number that jumps. Tonissimo draws the pitch as a line, so you can see a scoop, a drift or a wobble and fix it.
How it works
- Every tool runs in your browser. The microphone signal is analysed on your device and is not recorded or sent anywhere.
- The tuner and the pitch monitor adjust to your room. They listen down to just above the room noise, so a quiet, fading note is still followed.
- There are no ads, and you need no account.
Who makes it
Tonissimo is made and run by Deep Thought Solutions Limited, a software company in the United Kingdom (registered in England and Wales, company number 14299488).
What comes next
A vocal range test, warm-ups that check your pitch, breathing exercises for singers, and a trainer that helps choir singers learn their part.
